Oh my Gosh! its been a long time since I last added a new post! I haven't forgotten about you at all, things in my life had been so busy for me lately that I havent had the time out to sit down and create a new post. But here I am and I'm glad to be sharing with you once again =]

I just had a birthday a few days ago (July 30th and I turned the lovely 23) and one of the things that that I got for my birthday was a nail art set from sephora (click here to view nail art set). Something I always wanted to do was to attempt to make a Hello Kitty mani! I think that It turned out pretty ok!

The colors that I used were:

French mani - O.P.I Pink Friday (my staple nail polish)

French mani underline - Julep Oscar

Hello Kitty face - Essie Blanc

Bow - Essie Lollypop

Nose - sally hansen mellow yellow

Outline - Essie licorice

Simple Solutions: restoring your broken powder makeup

Hey loves!

Ahhhh! Dont you just HATE it when you drop your favorite eyeshadow or powder makeup and afterwards you just dont feel like using it anymore?!

You can easily restore your favorite make up just by using a few items that you most likely have laying around in your home

All you need is 

- 70-90% isopropyl alcohol

- a piece of cloth

- a plastic spoon

- a butter knife (not shown)

1. Take your spoon and crush your make up until it turns into a fine powder

2. Add a small amount of alcohol into your makeup, not too much or your makeup will get to liquid-y, stir until it form into a paste like substance

3. use your spoon or a butter knife and smooth until the makeup is even on the pan

4. Place your cloth over your make up and using your fingers gently press the make up. For my foundation I used the bottom of my lotion bottle. The cloth will absorb the alcohol making it faster for the make up to dry

5. Let your make up dry

And now that destroyed make up you had looks like new again!!

Mani of the week (MOTW) & a little update on my life

 

Hey loves! I been on a almost 3 week hiatus but I'm back! so much had been going on that I've been slacking on this blog =[ 

My MOTW is a summer neon leopard print that I've been loving so much. It was surprising very easy-to-do  all you do is make random dots on the nail bed and with a nail brush, take your black nail polish and make C's and parenthesis on the nail. The colors I used was Sinful colors innocent (neon lime) and sally hansen the sky is the limit (sky blue)

Now If you follow me on instagram, facebook or twitter you may have know that I announced that i cut my hair! yes I cut my hair! The reason I decided/have to get a cut was because when I recently dyed my hair auburn, it damaged my hair =[ and I also wanted a change for myself. So far I'm loving it so much! I have those days when I get frustrated when I'm trying to style it and it won't work out for me but overall I love the cut on me 

Another thing that I announced was that I have a dog! His name is Rocky hes a beagle mixed  and I adopted him a week ago. I went to so many pet stores in Tampa and online searching for a puppy until something told me to just go to the humane society and find one. When I first saw him he was very shy and reserved but once I took him home he warmed up and been loving the place and my family ever since.
